Clinicians' Coffee House

Registration now open for the 2016 Clinicians' Coffee House: May 16 - June 10, 2016

NSPN is excited to announce the topic for this online course geared toward clinicians. This year's course will take place between May and June and will cover the topic: “Doing Ethics” – The Process of Ethics in Services to Youth.

All clinicians commit to ethical practice in their work with youth and families. This commitment is a cornerstone in the foundation of clinical efforts to establish relationships and maintain trust.

The 2016 Clinicians’ Coffee House is an open opportunity for all staff and contract members who would like to discuss challenges and solutions associated with maintaining ethical practice when faced with limited resources, organizational changes, and systemic crises.

This series will feature two webinars, readings and two follow-up teleconferences with open discussion. A certificate of six contact hours will be provided to all participants who complete all activities.

Week 1 Week of May 16 (Exact time TBD) -Topic: Ethics and Professional Boundaries, webinar and discussion

Week 2 - Week of May 23 (Exact time TBD) - Topic: Exploring Ethics, open discussion and Q&A

Week 3 - Week of May 30 (Exact time TBD) - Topic: “Doing Ethics” – Scenarios, webinar and discussion

Week 4 - Week of June 6 (Exact time TBD) - Topic: Ethical questions, open discussion and Q&A
