Training of Trainers
NSPN occasionally offers “Training of Trainer” opportunities as related to specific information. Completion of one of these sessions authorizes the participant to provide the same training to members of your staff on an ongoing basis. This investment ensures new staff can receive required training without the associated costs of sending each new hire through external training. Certain training may be completed virtually while others require at least a portion of in-person activity. Participants completing a training of trainer course will receive the curriculum, a trainer’s guide, associated presentation slides, and on-going consultation support for future agency-based trainings.
Available Training of Trainer opportunities include:
- Training and Facilitation Techniques – applicable to all topics with a focus on developing skill for all those wishing to train others and facilitate team decisions
- Trauma-Informed Care – understanding and implementing trauma-informed practice across various settings
- Demonstrating Effectiveness – basic evaluation knowledge for non-profits
- Youth Development – embracing the benefits of partnering with youth in their development and in the development of programs within your organization
- HTR3 (Human Trafficking – Recognize, Respect, and Respond) – entry-level human trafficking awareness and response
NSPN members have exclusive access to this service. There is a set registration price per training of trainer opportunity. Watch NSPN communications for upcoming trainer events. If you represent a cadre of organizations in your community or a multi-service agency and wish to have multiple staff trained, please contact [email protected] to discuss opportunities for a customized, train the trainer event in your community.
