  • The National Domestic Violence Hotline (NDVH) has written a blog post on ways to stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their 24/7 hotline is fully operational and can be reached at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233). You can also chat with them online by clicking here.
    • The Stronghearts Native Helpline is available from 7:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. CST to provide culturally relevant information and help for Native people dealing with violence. The hotline may be reached at 1-844-762-8483.
  • As many states issue "Shelter in Place" directives, it is important to know who can help you if intimate partner violence begins to occur. The Bay Area Transformative Justice Collective has a blog post that discusses safety planning by identifying your "pod people". For more information on identifying your pod people, and a worksheet to aid in identification, read the blog post here.
